Who was Walter Wego?

Walter, a character in "Death in Tomorrow's Shadow," is another of the many curiosities, such as metaphors, nuances, simile, myths, et cetera, that I include in my novels. Such are for the curious and discerning reader, but not critical to the plot or the solution of any mystery.


You could have read the entire episode of "Death in Tomorrow's Shadow," completely rationalized the mystery and its solution, but not have understood the odd character, "Walter Wego."


Did you discern the derivation of the character's name, Walter Wego?" If not, here is a hint: If you deduce the name derivation then you will know what character Walter represents.


Here is a side note. I assumed the name that I invented, Walter Wego, would have been an obscure name. However, prior to writing this blog entry, in a quick search of the internet, I found many persons with the name.
